As part of this team, you will play a critical role in our network transformation through building a unified network across all lines of business and maintaining the technology that keeps millions of our customers connected.

You’ll be responsible for overseeing Mobile Private Network & Private LTE platforms and working with planning, engineering, operations, and tenant operation functions for all systems that the HQP MPN and Private LTE team is responsible for. You will drive, compile, work with vendors, and work with various budget teams, define yearly capital budgets, and ensure execution according to approved plans.

  • Working closely with cross functional teams and collaborating on optimal solutions for current and future MPN and Private LTE projects.
  • Providing mentoring to other team members and groups.
  • Detecting and resolving issues in a proactive manner before they can impact the platform and/or customers.
  • Applying a working knowledge of an “Agile Mindset” and leverage your ability to adapt quickly to fluid environments.
  • Driving the team and vendors to adopt and migrate applications to the (VCP).
  • Distributing workload and development responsibilities to ensure timely completion without impact to existing services.
  • Working with internal organizations to develop, design, size, and adjust data flow models to ensure applications meet availability, performance, capacity, and security requirements and guidelines.
  • Managing capital and expense budgets to plan.
  • Driving technology, operational and cost innovation within the team and with broader stakeholders.

What we’re looking for...

You’re a technical expert with solid credentials and a remarkable ability to find, break down, and troubleshoot problems. You work effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, and you’re great at partnering with the groups you support. You constantly look for ways to make a great network design better, and you’re a natural mentor to junior engineers looking to develop their technical skills.

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering.
  • Knowledge in Mobile Private Network, Private LTE
  • Knowledge of cloud computing, virtualization technologies, and software defined networking.
  • Knowledge of OpenStack or equivalent infrastructure framework technology in a cloud computing environment.
  • Project management experience, with strong leadership skills, and the ability to drive teams to consensus.
  • Budget management expertise.
  • Willingness to travel.
