What you’ll be doing...

You will be a part of the Customer Experience Effectiveness team, you will deliver business value by evolving the team’s data management process, automating business intelligence reporting and visualization, and developing analytic tools for advanced data science. Using your strong foundation in Python, R, and SQL, you will develop analytical views using platforms that include Anaconda and R-Studio, and visualization tools such as Tableau, R-Shiny, and/or proprietary web-based applications. You will also need to connect to various data locations and APIs in order to stage data prior to developing visualizations.

Responsibilities will also include:

  • Strategizing, overseeing, documenting, resource planning and defining scope on multiple projects with evolving timelines in various stages of completing.
  • Leading collaboration with business leads and IT to execute all visual design stages from concept and requirements to final hand-off to business unit end-users.
  • Reviewing existing visualizations to assess existing opportunities for improvement within the business and to drive a best-in-class User Interface solution.
  • Collaborating with others to identify analytic requirements and devise the best possible solution.
  • Analyzing complex operational, economic and accounting data to quantify the competitive business segments and evaluate potential operational changes.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Proven experience in the development of data visualizations and dashboards, based on complex datasets
  • Experience analyzing big data, distilled insights and making business recommendations.

Even better if you have:

  • Experience with reporting and data visualization, spinning up dashboards in platforms such as Tableau, R-Shiny, Kibana, Qlik, Bokeh, Dash, Flask, etc.
  • A degree in computer science, information systems, or a business-related field.
  • Ability to present complex ideas and insights to a variety of audiences.
  • Ability to build and deploy OLAP cubes with SSAS, or have worked with Teradata SQL.
  • Experience with big data manipulation & data-wrangling skills using Python/R/SQL. SAS also a plus.
  • Experience with statistical analysis, quantitative analysis, forecasting/predictive analytics, multivariate testing.
  • Ability to work across teams in a fluid/matrixed environment.
  • Experience with strategic thinking & problem solving skills.
  • An eagerness to roll up your sleeves and get your hands deep in the data.
