What you’ll be doing...

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the defining the partnering strategy and combined value propositions of one or more alliance relationships.
  • Responsible for developing an alliance business plan – including revenue metrics – with stakeholder groups and driving health and performance of the relationship(s) health for each managed relationship
  • Lead joint initiatives to develop and bring to market joint offerings developed with partnering firms
  • Evangelize joint value propositions to build supporters and champions for alliance capabilities across Verizon and partnering firm(s) to foster lead pipeline
  • Bring various business functions and different levels of management together to ideate, develop and bring joint solutions to market
  • Develop, negotiate business terms and oversee contractual agreements required to support the alliance partnership, solution development and GTM initiatives.
  • Closely collaborate with marketing on all necessary branding, collateral development, digital marketing, campaigns, events, web presence and lead generation activities.
  • Align partner solution strategy, market strengths and GTM focus with those of Verizon to create high value solutions that solve critical end-customer business challenges.
  • Apply relevant analyst and industry information to identify new areas for partnership growth.
  • Drive regular sales cadence with partner to discuss top opportunities, solution traction and address any issues to ensure sales and customer objectives are met.
  • Oversee 360 governance- formal cadence between executive sponsors as well as key business stakeholders to align strategic initiatives, remove roadblocks and drive growth.

  • Must be an effective communicator, adept at influencing internal and partner stakeholders to take action and seize market opportunities.
  • Possesses solid understanding of both Verizon and partner’s products, services, solution roadmap and go-to-market (GTM).
  • Sales and technical awareness- educate both Verizon and partner teams about the partnership, value prop, solutions, sales successes and how to engage.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering or related field
  • Ten or more years sales success leading / managing large partnerships or large global accounts
  • Sixor more years ofproven businessdevelopment / alliance managementexperience
  • Demonstrated track record of sales success
  • Experience selling SDN-NFV,wireless,IoT, security or unified communications desired
  • Ability to prepare and deliver impactful presentations to executive stakeholders
  • Ability to produce sound business cases that deliver a compelling financial argument to support investment requests
  • Proven business acumen to develop, align and manage a solid business plan
  • Willingness to travelto necessary meetings, conferences and industry events
