What you’ll be doing...

You will join the exciting and fast paced world of reporting and analytics for the VCG Customer Service Organization. You will support all aspects of managing reporting and analysis consumed by the SPC field, operations and vendor partners.

In a typical week you may research data integrity issues to identify root cause and resolution, develop a new report for the field, work with partners on providing data needs and perform an analysis study on drivers that are impacting a particular KPI. The next week you might be involved in creating a Tableau dashboard.This is an exciting opportunity to grow in the dynamic and evolving world of analytics and business intelligence.

  • Troubleshooting, creating new reporting, modifying existing reports, Issue management, producing executive views and analysis deliverables for 50 + SSRS and Tableau reports.
  • Attending meetings with stakeholders to secure buy-in and scope business needs and work across VCG Reporting and Analysis to implement solutions.
  • Maintaining rapport with GTS and all the partner reporting and analysis peers in managing data ingestion, augmentation, and governance.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Three or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Three or more years of SQL experience in Teradata, MS SQL, and PostgreSQL.
  • Related experience in operational reporting including data mining, analysis, data interpretation and quantitative/qualitative reporting and analysis.
  • Willingness to travel up to approximately 25% or less of the time.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.
  • Advanced proficiency with SQL.
  • Documented use of analytical tools, principles, and methodologies to extract, filter and correlate large quantity of data in order to develop and perform statistical modeling and analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills and familiarity with basic statistical concepts.
  • Experience with analytical tools such as Tableau, SPSS, Mega Stat.
  • Experience with creating/maintaining objects in MS SQL Server including but not limited to tables, views, stored procedures and creating SSIS packages.
  • Advanced Microsoft SQL Server tools (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS).
  • Experience with programming in .Net, Java scripting, API, Python.
  • VLSS Green or Black Belt.
  • Experience with Customer Service.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment with minimal oversight.
  • Proven ability to quickly interpret and understand new data sources.
