What you’ll be doing...

Our network engineering team keeps us ahead of the competition. As a Network Engineer, you will be supportingthe Implementation team in the project implementation of various Embedded Base and New Build projects. This includes all New Build and Embedded Base and all Technologies 4G, 5G, LAA, CBRS.You’ll play a key role in making sure our customers continue to enjoy the crystal-clear connections and top-notch call performance that we’re known for.

  • Manage all aspects of antenna material and equipment coordination for the New Build and Embedded Base programs.
  • Purchase program equipment and components that are required for a project in a timely manner and based on the specific trigger dates for the project.
  • Manage the material release for the projects to the vendor or general contractors. Work closely with the Staging Facility inventory team on material deliveries and receipts.
  • Work with the antenna manufacturers and Minor Material vendors to resolve issues and order replacement material for projects.
  • Communicate with antenna vendors on any delivery issues and work with them on antenna and material Purchase Orders and Staging Facility deliveries.
  • As a buyer, manage the financial and the budget aspect of the material program and provide accurate monthly spending forecasting and be on target to meet the monthly spending goal. This includes Received not Paid items and invoicing. Manage funding requests for funding program material.
  • Address lost material and work on the resolution to find the lost material or replace it.
  • Point of contact for antenna maintenance issues where a failed antenna needs to be replaced. Provide a solution to replace antennas which includes antennas in excess available or purchase an antenna if needed.
  • Mange the control tower and inventory metrics to ensure material is reserved for projects or moved around and re assign to other projects.

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or one or more years of work experience.
  • Project Management and coordination as well as Inventory experience.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.
  • Two or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Knowledge in 4G and 5G
  • Knowledge and Experience in antenna systems and Minor material.
  • Experience in Remote Radio Heads equipment and fiber system material.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, etc..)
  • Excellent Communication skills.
  • Comprehensive understanding of VZW business (KPIs, processes, products, policy & procedures)
  • Self-motivated. Able to define and develop processes and procedures and communicate clearly with others to ensure that requirements are clearly understood.
  • Analytical, organizational, interpersonal, operational, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure dynamic environment where constant priority change.
  • Demonstrate positive role model for other team members and customers.
