What you’ll be doing...

Locations: New York, NY; Waltham, MA.

You’ll be front and center, hands-on and contributing your creative energy, and the skills and experiences you’ve gained in your MBA program to high-impact projects from the moment you arrive through the course of this 10-week experience. You will take part in meaningful work and real-life projects that will help you grow both professionally and personally throughout the program. You'll learn from the best minds in the industry and improve your technical product management knowledge in an environment that’s dedicated to industry superiority.

You’ll work on the Verizon Consumer Services and Platforms team, which is responsible for products in Identity, FinTech, consumer cloud, messaging and edge computing. We are passionate about early-state ideation and product development. We work with business product teams, in-house development teams, partners and vendors to quickly prototype, trial, and launch products. We also own the delivery and development of multiple in-market products with millions of customers and billions of interactions.
In this role, you may have the opportunity to:
•Identify customer pain points and unmet needs.
•Define early product visions.
•Conduct competitive assessments.
•Review design flows with product and design teams.
•Conduct customer research and feedback initiatives.
•Produce mockups and optimized flows based on research.

You’ll need to have:
•Current enrollment in an MBA program with a concentration in Technology, Marketing, Product Management, Strategy, Consulting, Data Analytics, Finance or a related field with an expected completion date between December 2020 and June 2021.
•Four or more years of work experience in Engineering, Computer Science, Marketing Corporate Strategy, Operations, Data Analytics, Management Consulting, Finance, Business Modeling, or a related field.
•Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship.

Even better if you have:
•Demonstrated independent thinking, relationship management and attention to detail.
•Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-moving, team environment.
•Demonstrated strong analytical, communication, leadership and presentation skills.
•High proficiency in MS Office Suite of Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
•Experience launching digital products and features, with a heavy focus on native mobile clients.
•Familiarity with B2C products such as Personal Cloud, Messaging/Communication, FinTech, Digital Identity or related.
•Strong technical knowledge.
