What you’ll be doing...

As the Sr. Manager Data Analytics for the VBM Performance Management team, you will lead a team of onshore and offshore resources thatis responsible for establishing targets, monitoring and reporting on performance, identifying performance gaps and opportunities while assisting in the development of strategic performance improvement recommendations. The Data Analytics Manager's team will be working at the intersection of data base management, marketing and finance. The Data Analytics Manager’s key responsibilities include:

  • Work in tight partnership with HQ finance teams in establishing the annual and 5-year business plan as it relates to base management.
  • Develop a monthly version of the annual base marketing budget for activity and revenue and ensure that processes are in place to measure performance on a daily basis.
  • Support the Performance Management team and VBM team in SQL-related requests, strategic performance analysis, and play a major role in presenting findings and recommendations.
  • Leverage data visualization technologies to maximize performance and help identify opportunities to the broader VBM team.
  • Work closely with the VBM marketing teams by participating and understanding base promo strategies, monitor and deliver performance results with recommendations.
  • Track and report on marketing program performance and value (ROI) to Verizon.

What we’re looking for...

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience in Marketing, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science or Information Systems.
    • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
    • Proficient in SQL, R, Python, Tableau, Thought Spot
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office – Excel and PowerPoint

    Preferences:

    • Marketing and/or financial reporting experience is preferred
    • Ability to lead, problem solve and work multiple projects simultaneously through multitasking, prioritization, and negotiating expectations
