What you’ll be doing...

As a member of the Corporate Systems Group (CSG) general ledger/month end close support team, you’ll be using the latest technologies and processes to support our critical business infrastructure. As a Finance Systems Analyst, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that our accounting data is accurate, accessible and in compliance. You will also be providing financial system support during and between book closure periods, including reporting, uploading large entries, validating data, and resolving any issues that arise during the close cycle.

  • Identifying process improvement opportunities to streamline and simplify procedures will make us better.
  • Performing system administration and end user support.
  • Analyzing, synthesizing and documenting business requirements for implementations.
  • Supporting Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) compliance efforts and internal and external audit requests.
  • Participating in performance tuning, software, hardware and tools upgrades.
  • Providing General Ledger Systems support, training development and delivery.
  • Maintaining website content for general ledger and other finance teams.

Your work style is flexible and you adjust your schedule to meet business needs.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or one or more years of work experience.
  • Experience with financial systems and procedures.
  • Experience working with large, complex data sets.

Even better if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, MIS or Accounting.
  • Master’s Degree in MIS, MIT, Business Administration or Accounting/Finance.
  • Experience reading, writing, tuning and deploying SQL.
  • Data warehousing, data transformation, and/ or IT production support experience.
  • ERP implementation experience.
  • Experience utilizing project management documentation techniques.
  • Technology and/or telecommunications industry experience.
  • Audit and/or SOX experience.
  • Collaboration and communication skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft and/or Google suite of product solutions.
