What you’ll be doing...

As a Senior Operations Launch Manager, you will be responsible at a program level supporting in excess of six internal departments and external clients. You will manage the relationship with the assigned project(s) through the entire lifecycle as it relates to Operations. You will gather and accurately interpret project requirements to ensure proper assignment of department resources.

  • Partnering with internal Technology, Program, Product, and Marketing organizations as well as external customers in the planning, execution, and reporting of project tasks.
  • Using your understanding of the current Telematics state against the long-term road map and vision of the program to make key decisions taking into consideration numerous factors.
  • Serving as a stakeholder with cross-functional teams to understand the future vision guidance and long-term support strategies.
  • Managing the implementation of our Verizon Connect business streams and initiatives into the Verizon support model.
  • Using the road map and vision information along with the business requests, inputs, budgeting, and product priorities to provide guidance on decisions on resource assignment and appropriate interdepartmental priorities as it relates to the goals and objectives of the project implementation.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in business process analysis and call flow analysis.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.
  • The ability to define requirements for human-to-machine interfaces, training, and knowledge base to support agent functions.
  • Proven track record of completing complicated tasks with little to no supervision or direction.
  • Experience managing projects involving internal and external teams.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • The ability to function in a team-based and matrixed environment.
  • The ability to influence and lead others (e.g., project manager, project teams).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (e.g., Project, Excel, Word, Visio).
  • The ability to solve complex problems creatively and with an analytical mindset.
  • A strong customer service orientation.
  • Knowledge of business process development and improvement.
  • Experience in support of automotive products.
  • Expert-level knowledge of Verizon’s support teams and their processes and procedures.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.
