What you’ll be doing...

Skyward, A Verizon Company, is hiring a Channel Manager to identify, win, maintain and expand relationships with channel partners. You are responsible for achieving sales, profitability, and partner recruitment objectives. You will represent the entire range of Skyward products and services to assigned partners. As the central point of contact for all things related to channel partners, you will work closely with a diverse set of internal stakeholders including demand generation, sales, business development, customer success, professional services, finance and legal to drive success. You will proactively recruit new qualifying partners and establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in partner accounts.

  • Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned partner accounts.
  • Leads a joint partner planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a productive partner relationship.
  • Assesses, clarifies, and validates partner needs on an ongoing basis.
  • Sells through partner organizations to end users in coordination with partner sales resources.
  • Manages potential channel conflict with other firm sales channels by fostering excellent communication internally and externally, and through strict adherence to channel rules of engagement.
  • Leads solution development efforts that best address end user needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company and partner personnel.
  • Leads partner training and enablement.
  • Ensures partner compliance with partner agreements.
  • Drives adoption of company programs among assigned partners.
  • Completes partner account plans that meet company standards.
  • Maintains high partner satisfaction ratings that meet company standards.
  • Enlists the support of sales specialists, implementation resources, service resources, marketing, and other sales and management resources as needed.
  • Coordinates company executive involvement with partner and end-user customer management as appropriate.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Six or more years of channel management experience.
  • Five or more years of customer facing experience working closely with enterprise organizations in a business to business sales environment
  • Knowledge of channel go-to-market strategies, including education, promotion, sales targeting and delivery.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%.
  • Experience of the UAS space.
