What you’ll be doing...

The Senior Manager of Business Operations Stakeholder User Experience role will be part of the strategic sourcing team responsible for managing, developing, designing and implementing strategic sourcing projects, initiatives and process improvements to ensure a successful stakeholder experience. This role will lead a team of 4-8 direct and/or indirect reports. This position is responsible for actively managing multiple time-sensitive, highly visible and complex projects simultaneously; proactively solving issues, conducting assessments, making recommendations and initiating improvements; managing relationships and expectations of a large set of internal stakeholders across different organizations.

The Senior Manager will interact and engage directly with the sourcing directors, the sourcing VPs and SVP, as well as other senior leaders of the organization. This role will work closely with the category sourcing experts and contract managers in a way that positively engages the support of stakeholders and sourcing colleagues, applying good communication and analytical and problem solving skills to complete commercial management objectives.

  • Develop, manage and present project-based updates, strategic sourcing updates and reviews, executive briefings, and operational reviews, including feedback and appropriate reporting on key, process-focused objectives to senior leadership.
  • Support the driving of the sourcing leadership team agenda throughout the function, the wider business stakeholders including embedding the vision, delivery of the strategic objectives and driving the communications strategy.
  • Develop and maintain a “help desk” for benefit of stakeholder user experience (Sourcing Request Form [SRF] submissions, Ariba connection points, etc.).
  • Develop and maintain a triage program to enable efficient and expedited assignments of SRFs to appropriate Category Sourcing Experts.
  • Facilitate discovery sessions with sourcing directors and business stakeholders to outline scope, goals, deliverables, resource needs, and timelines turning the data gathered into functional requirements.
  • Operational reporting and strategy (including implementing and developing tools, and working with our shared services team, for pre-deal pipeline management, cycle time reporting, and developing tools to enable the expedited approval process for Sourcing VP on deals).
  • Develop and continuously update of training materials for entire sourcing organization (including sourcing playbook and training decks), and development and implementation of formal training program for new hires and entire sourcing organization (quarterly).
  • Develop and roll-out of functional capability program for the various roles in the Sourcing organization.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Six years of experience with sourcing or supply chain functions.
  • Willingness to travel.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, human resources, supply chain, or procurement.
  • Master’s degree.
  • Experience with Business Operations and Intelligence.
  • Highly effective communication skills (both written and verbal) and organizational agility.
  • Design Thinking and/or Lean Six Sigma experience.
  • Strong analytical and effective problem-solving skills to identify improvement opportunities, evaluate options, and develop solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound business decisions with limited direction.
  • Well organized, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks.
  • Ability to prioritize projects, establish realistic timelines/milestones and achieve results while demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to interact professionally and effectively with all levels of management including senior leaders.
  • Advanced familiarity and experience with Microsoft Power Point with the ability to create professional and creative presentations.
  • Facilitator and/or PMO training.
