What you’ll be doing...

Applying the relevant Strategic, Operational and Tactical elements of the Verizon Complex Programme Office

Applying key Programme Office principles and governance methodologies to the Portfolio with a heavy focus on Governance.

  • Designing, deploying and maintaining the strategy for the effective management of Programme Risks and Issues.
  • Leading the production of Programme Status Reports.
  • Gathering, analysing and presenting accurate and timely all required information on the status of the programme(s) to the respective Programme Teams in order to provide a meaningful summary of the Programme Status.
  • Maintaining the Programme Risk Register and Programme Issue Log.
  • Monitoring the programme by working alongside the core Programme Team, highlighting Risks and Issues to the Programme Manager and providing advice on what action to take.
  • Attending key Programme Status Reviews and take a record of the meeting, highlighting all risks/issues identified, decisions made and actions taken.
  • Interfacing with the Customer’s Programme Office for Joint Governance including Risk/Issue/Change Management and Customer-facing Status Reports.
  • Analysing Lessons Learned from the programme for onward consideration for future Programmes.
  • Identifying and implementing opportunities to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the Programme and the wider Programme Office.

What we’re looking for...

You´ll need to have:

  • Bachelor´s degree or relevant work experience.
  • Experience of effective Risk and Issue Management in large programmes.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Fluency in English.

Even better if you have:

  • Experience working as PMO / Governance Analyst with well-proven credentials.
  • Experience in MoR, Prince2, MSP, PMP, ITL and/or P3O.
  • MS Office skills including confident use of Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Professional, hard-working, proactive and highly organised attitude with an ability to multi-task.
  • Willingness to develop new collateral and bring innovation to the organization.
  • Good communication skills.
