What you’ll be doing...

The Corporate Social Responsibility Lead will assist with the implementation and management of Verizon’s education initiatives that engage and positively impact underserved and underrepresented youth across the United States.

  • Use a deep understanding of education innovations and project management to work with external partners on large-scale initiatives that transform technology integration in education.

  • Research new partnerships and identify opportunities for ed-tech partners to enhance our education offerings; Lead implementation of new and existing partnerships.

  • Collaborate with other members of the Verizon Innovative Learning team to determine how partnerships will meet strategic goals of the program.

  • Develop end-to-end plans (timelines, deliverables, and processes) to meet these goals.

  • Collaborate with other members of the Verizon Innovative Learning team, research and evaluation team, and non-profit partners to manage pilots in schools and determine key metrics.

  • Analyze results and determine actions to course correct before bringing to scale or sunsetting.

  • Regularly meet with partners and provide status updates to program manager and director; track partnership progress towards goals and maintain accurate reports.

  • Maintain and develop accurate communications materials on Verizon Innovative Learning to report program overview and progress to diverse stakeholders.

  • Perform site visits to assess partnerships’ impact and progress towards deliverables; report site visit results with partners and Verizon Innovative Learning team.

  • Connect external partners with a cross-functional team (marketing, employee engagement); identify opportunities for marketing to further promote stories of impact.

  • Manage multi-million dollar budgets and forecast initiatives’ expansion; regularly monitor partner budgets and demonstrate fiscal responsibility.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Four or more years of relevant work experience in project management related to education technology.

  • Willingness to travel 50% of the time.

Even better if you have:

  • Master’s degree in education.

  • Experience collaborating with diverse stakeholders in education (non-profit partners, edtech partners, and district school leaders).

  • Proven ability to solve problems creatively.

  • Excellent analytical & communication skills.

  • Fluent in G-Suite platform and adept and creating and maintaining files in Sheets, Slides and Docs.

  • Strong interpersonal, collaboration and relationship building skills.

  • Proven ability to manage multi-million dollar and multi-year projects.

  • Effectively manage, and communicate with partners, stakeholders and internal team members and management.

  • Self-motivated, thrives well in fast paced environments.

  • Experience in implementation of technology integrated instruction.

  • Experience managing non-profit partnerships.

  • Understanding of next-generation technologies and use cases in education.
