What you’ll be doing...

You’ll be leading a team tasked with analyzing full-funnel marketing intelligence data, presenting insights, and making key recommendations to our key partners. With your marketing, analytical and reporting expertise, you’ll provide the information that will guide strategy and decision making across the Verizon Business Group. You’ll lead the team that will be analyzing and gathering information about what’s going on across our lines of business and transforming data into insights and recommendations to improve performance.

  • Guiding and implementing an acquisition marketing strategy.
  • Managing a team with various levels of experience to carry out the analysis and reporting.
  • Championing the capabilities of the team and value of data-driven decision making to leaders.
  • Presenting complex concepts and results to multiple partners.
  • Developing the Marketing Intelligence function, talent, and capabilities.
  • Oversee reporting for full-funnel activities including paid media efficacy, cohort centric analyses, a/b testing architecture, website reporting, email/social channel reporting among end-to-end campaign insights.
  • Develop and maintain a national marketing data cockpit with a lens to key performance metrics.
  • Introduce new quantitative measures to analyze data in new and compelling ways.
  • Maintain key relationships with business partners and agencies to advance the core goals of the team.

As a leader, you’re able to translate numbers into compelling stories and tailor your presentation and recommendations to the audience function and level to meet their needs. You make connections between data derived from different sources and synthesize it into one complete picture. You know that different team members and partners have different needs and you flex your style and approach to be most effective. You’re the type of person that takes pride in seeing those that you mentor develop, and succeed. People trust you and come to you for advice and counsel. You thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple highly visible projects with lots of competing priorities.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Data management, architecture, analysis and visualization experience.
  • Experience analyzing complex data, preparing reports, and presenting findings to multiple partners.
  • Hands on experience with Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics.
  • Hands on experience as a user and consumer of data from Salesforce.com or other enterprise grade CRMs.
  • Experience with measurement of Enterprise grade marketing automation platforms (i.e. Marketo).
  • Experience building reports, dashboards, and presentations to highlight key metrics to partners in different functions and levels.
  • Team management experience.
  • Willingness to travel.

Even better if you have:

  • Master’s degree. Ideally, a M.S. or MBA.
  • Managed multiple complex high-visibility projects with multiple partners.
  • Understanding of Google CM (formerly DCM), SA360, DV360, DSPs, and other general ad trafficking software.
  • Experience with data visualization software such as Tableau, Datorama, Thoughtspot, etc.
  • Trained and mentored partners and business users on analytic platforms and best practices.
