What you’ll be doing...

The Corporate Systems Group (CSG) combines Finance & Technology to best understand our clients’ needs and help them to make high-quality data-driven decisions. We provide simple but effective customer solutions and we operate in efficient structures. As a part of the CSG Planning team we are looking for an individual who can work with our business partners to deliver application solutions and operational support required to drive top business goals, acknowledge and resolve issues as per defined SLA, support the monthly change control and month end close activities, and perform root cause analysis on incidents as required.

  • Be actively involved in discussions with key business stakeholders to understand business requirements and processes.

  • Translate business requirements into user stories/functional requirements.

  • Analyze, design, and develop Planning objects (i.e. webforms, business rules, tasklists, calc scripts, etc…) based on the business requirements.

  • Perform System Integration Testing and support User Acceptance Testing.

  • Perform data validation among BSO, ASO and source systems.

  • Perform root cause analysis on incidents as required.

  • Identify issues to leads and/or management and provide possible solutions.

  • Assess conflicting priorities and prioritize appropriately.

  • Provide timely and accurate status on job assignments.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.

  • Oracle Hyperion Planning hands-on experience.

  • Oracle EPM/Oracle EPBCS -Planning Modules hands-on experience.

  • Experience designing and developing application objects (including webforms, business rules, tasklists, calc scripts, member formulas, etc…) using Hyperion Planning and Hyperion Essbase.

Even better if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree at a minimum, preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance or equivalent.

  • Strong knowledge Oracle SQL, ETL processes, multidimensional analysis, databases, data calculation, and aggregation techniques.

  • Experience in application performance tuning, data integration, and data validation.

  • Experience in functional/subject areas of financial accounting and headcount.

  • Understanding of accounting fundamentals for Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow.

  • Working knowledge of software version control concepts and change management processes.

  • Working knowledge of automated job scheduling.

  • Experience operating in Waterfall (SDLC) and hybrid of Waterfall and Agile.

  • Good familiarity Microsoft Office & G Suite productivity tools.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Good team player and detailed oriented, resourceful, motivated and creative.

  • Flexible, organized and able to handle competing priorities.
