What you’ll be doing...

Verizon’s Value-Based Marketing (VBM) consumer organization is responsible for almost sixty billion dollars in annual revenues for Verizon’s home and mobile services. The Marketing Technology and Operations Group, within VBM, is responsible for a variety of functions including building marketing technology solutions and managing base communication prioritization and enables the best possible customer marketing experiences.

As a Project Management Sr. Analyst on the Prioritization, Roadmap & Execution Team, you’ll be responsible for leading the intake funnel and prioritization of support requests by overseeing new projects from conception to assignment, as well as the ongoing evolution of those process capabilities.

You’ll have a thorough understanding of the problems to be solved and work across other cross-functional stakeholders to determine the best potential solutions and socialize the final approach with stakeholders.

  • Project managing a variety of incoming requests that require the support of the VBM/CRM strategy, martech, and communications teams.

  • Aligning with key stakeholders to understand business pressures and translating them into strategic initiatives that help drive improvement to our core KPIs.

  • Conducting impact assessments for each incoming request and utilizing those assessments to determine next steps.

  • Providing guidance to requestors that will ensure the information they submit is relevant and actionable.

  • Developing a prioritization funnel to be reevaluated on a weekly basis.

  • Optimizing speed to market (i.e., date submitted, date prioritized, and date assigned for work to commence).

  • Acting as key stakeholder and champion for both the requestor and the VBM/CRM execution team.

  • Aligning with key stakeholders to understand business pressures and translating them into strategic initiatives that help drive improvement to our core KPIs.

  • Partnering across cross functional teams to gain alignment on ownership, timing and scope of deliverables.

  • Ensuring commitments are delivered with a clean user experience.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Three or more years of relevant work experience.

  • Experience working with large cross-functional teams and projects (including cross-functional projects and Agility methodology).

  • Experience engaging teams with strong stakeholdering capabilities.

  • Experience juggling many very diverse offers (e.g., loyalty offers, upsell, pricing, winback) simultaneously.

  • Experience in strategy development.

  • Experience presenting to management.

Even better if you have:

  • Master’s degree (ideally an MBA).

  • Project management certification.

  • Experience working with process orientation.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex concepts in simple, actionable terms.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • The ability to adapt quickly to changing business needs.

  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.

  • The ability to manage complex requests with a strong attention to detail.

  • Excellent problem-solving, technical, and analytical skills.
