What you’ll be doing...
The Executive Director of Capture Management will lead a team of Federal and State, Location, and Education (SLED) managers that build capture strategies and project manage all growth and defend bids in signature, premiere, and core accounts. Reporting directly in to the VP of Public Sector Sales, this key and highly visible leadership role will be responsible for resource allocation and budget and planning, including resource management, capital, and expense allocations. The Director will also need to assess risk and make strategy recommendations for proposal win probability and organizational and financial risk.
The Executive Director and team will leverage industry best practices in government capture, including the development of capture plans and competitive analysis, as well as all after-action reviews for wins and losses. They will be accountable for complex opportunities, from deal qualification through successful implementation, and will orchestrate across all internal Verizon teams, including Network, Media, Marketing, Finance, Product, Legal and Regulatory, and selected partners to assemble a winning pursuit.
