What you’ll be doing...

As a Merchandiser on the Digital team, you will be responsible for developing strategies and plans to help promote the sale of our Accessory products (e.g. Cases, Screen Protectors, Chargers, Smart Home Products, etc.). Your primary area of focus will be on the Accessory-related category, subcategory, and product details areas of our digital ecosystem, ensuring users can easily discover and navigate the assortment, and maximizing the quality of product and brand content. You will partner with a wide range of internal Marketing partners and other enterprise stakeholders to define the digital aspects of key product launches and marketing campaigns. In addition you will leverage a number of data sources, market trends, and your knowledge of digital merchandising best practices to proactively define and improve to in-channel advertisements and product-related content to maximize engagement and the conversion of visitors into shoppers.

You will work in a fast-paced environment to ensure the on-time delivery of time sensitive projects. This position encompasses both the Strategy and Planning aspect of Digital Merchandising, as well as some tactical execution work to procure assets and facilitate implementation.

  • Partner with various Marketing and enterprise stakeholders to develop digital Merchandising plans for key Product and Marketing initiatives.

  • Develop Digital Merchandising plans that promote Verizon products taking into account audience, location, timing, content, and functionality across both web and app ecosystems.

  • Leverage engagement, sales, voice-of-customer, and other sources of data to both analyze the performance of Merchandising campaigns or initiatives, and identify insights for future improvements.

  • Work extensively with Project Management resources to define specific merchandising and campaign requirements, timelines, and execution plans, and contribute to change and risk management activities related to implementation.

  • Leverage Merchandising team workflow, tracking, and work-management processes and tools to request and review assets, and facilitate their implementation with various execution teams.

  • Partner with personalization and audience insight stakeholders and partners to identify and executive audience-specific merchandising strategies.

  • Partner with testing and optimization stakeholders and partners to identify and execute merchandising-related A/B, multivariate, and AI-driven content, design, and placement tests.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.

  • Experience with the digital merchandising of physical products and/or subscription products in a digital environment.

Even better if you have:

  • Solid experience in E-commerce fundamentals, with a focus on digital marketing and product content.

  • Solid knowledge of digital Marketing, Creative, and Content Development fundamentals.

  • Working knowledge of digital UI/UX best practices.

  • Analytics skills and comfort with Engagement and Sales-related data analysis.

  • Experience with audience-specific merchandising or personalization a big plus.

  • Experience with common digital SDLC processes for managing product and marketing content.

  • Problem solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

  • Proven ability to manage deadlines and multiple/simultaneous, highly complex, cross-functional projects/initiatives.

  • Ability to work well within a team environment and under pressure of very stringent deadlines.

  • Proficient in either the G-Suite or Microsoft Office document-related applications (e.g. Powerpoint/Slides, Excel/Sheets, etc.)

  • Ability to periodically support key Merchandising initiatives that may occur at night, on weekends, or over holidays.
