What you’ll be doing...

Bluejeans by Verizon is looking for an enthusiastic, hard-working, and detail-oriented candidate to join the Operations Team. The Operations team is responsible to build, operate and maintain the Bluejeans world class video collaboration platform.The Operations Vendor Manager will manage key vendor relationships with technology suppliers that make up the Bluejeans platform.This role will partner closely with Operations leadership, purchasing and finance teams to ensure contracts, purchase orders and invoice payments are tracked and managed as efficiently and effectively as possible. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, detail-oriented and highly organized, capable of dealing with ambiguity and scoping new areas, and comfortable working with teams, vendors, and leadership.The candidate should possess experience in contracts and/or finance, with a track record of successful relationship management and experience generating and managing reporting and analysis. Great communication skills and understanding of Excel will be essential to your success.Our environment is fast-paced, and requires someone who is flexible, detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working with multiple teams, vendors, partners, and management.

What we’re looking for...

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 10+ years in buying, vendor management, project management.
  • Strong business judgement with a track record of successful relationship management.
  • Successful candidates will be autonomous and creative. They will quickly adapt to work in a fast paced environment where prioritization and multi-tasking are essential.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; strong writing and speaking skills.
  • Track record of taking ownership and driving results.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects - prioritization, planning and task delegation
  • Video Conferencing experience
  • Industry Experience - Software as a Service, Cloud Services, Information Technology & Services
