Who you are:

As our Agile Coach/Scrum Master, you are passionate about helping to unlock the potential of individuals and teams. You have a proven track record of success in agile product delivery, knowledge of best practices and the ability to provide leadership oversight and planning of development activities.

Responsibilities:

  • As a Scrum Master you will coach and facilitate development teams through all aspects of the agile process including release planning, sprint planning, daily standups, product demos, backlog refinement, scrum of scrum meetings, and retrospectives. As a servant leader remove impediments to team deliverables and product goals.
  • As an Agile Coach you will draw on your expertise to provide feedback, course correction, mentoring, teaching and facilitating to develop highly effective teams.
  • Work closely with other agile coaches to implement programs to promote best practices across the organization and growing agile across the organization.
  • Partnering with Product, Engineering and Operations, understand VLT vision and strategy and ensure program goals, business direction and technical strategies are aligned to meet that vision.
  • Flexible, adaptable and nimble approach in motivating teams, identifying and enhancing capabilities, and removing impediments.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Three or more years of experience in a Scrum Master role or Agile experience.
  • Scrum Master Certification CSM, PMP-ACP or CSP.
  • Experience in diligently applying Agile principles, practices and theory (User stories, Story Pointing, Velocity, Burndown Metrics, Agile Games, Tasking, Retrospectives, Product Demos).

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.
  • Agile Coach or other Agile Certifications (ICP-ACC, PSM I, PSM II, SAFe)
  • Experience with Agile tools, especially JIra and Confluence.
  • Experience working with various software development practices (BDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Paring, Automated Testing, DevOps.
  • Experience working with different Agile approaches (Scrum, Lean, XP, Kanban etc.)
  • Strong verbal and written skills.
  • Strong skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, influence and transparency.
  • Detail-orientated and the ability to understand and communicate technical information.

For part-timers, your coverage will vary as you may be eligible for some of these benefits depending on your individual circumstances.

If you are hired into a Colorado work location, the compensation range for this position is between $86,000 and $160,000 based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
