What you’ll be doing...
We are committed to providing the highest levels of compliance and you’ll be leading all matters relating to state tax accounting to ensure our organization meets all requirements. You will apply appropriate financial principles to help drive the development of tax planning strategies. From analysis to tax return preparation to balancing accounts, your strategic mentorship on complex business performance matters will make our company better.
- Preparing income tax information, quarterly tax reconciliations, and tax returns.
- Reviewing calculations of state current and deferred tax accruals and related activities.
- Developing and managing state effective and quarterly rates.
- Establishing and detailing processes and controls to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Monitoring state legislative changes to identify tax implications.
- Collaborating with partners to identify and implement process improvement strategies.

Driving excellence and meeting challenging deadlines in a complex, fast-paced environment is motivating to you.
You’ll need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
- Six or more years of relevant work experience.
- Finance experience.
Even better if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- CPA or MS in Taxation.
- Strong tax accounting background with knowledge of SFAS 109.
- Worked in a public and/or corporate tax accounting environment.
- Experience in compliance.
- OneSource Provision and UTP experience.
- CorpTax, SAP, and PeopleSoft software experience.
