What you’ll be doing...

You'll be responsible for the strategy, planning and operation of Verizon’s B2B promotional roadmap and project management. You will be primarily tasked with managing the requirement and lifecycle as well as implementing offers through various internal systems in coordination with cross functional teams. You will partner hand-in-hand with Finance, IT, Sales Operations, channel leads, and front-line representatives to perfect the process and experiences of promotions.

  • Promotional Strategy – Develop and design promotional offers using internal and external data to combat churn, grow B2B base and increase profitability of the B2B segment.
  • Forecast the financial impacts and incremental sales that the offers will have while working with finance.
  • Work back with leadership, front-line representatives, promotion and operational teams to obtain feedback, discover new promotion requests, and align on strategy.
  • Implementation – completing user stories, checklists, Ops briefs required to create and operationalize offers and projects.
  • Take device launches and promotions through Go-to-Market (GTM) while aligning with business channels on needs and variances, and build offers accordingly, work with Ops teams to test offers and troubleshoot problems ahead of commercial launch.
  • Communication – product manage promotions through GTM, Integrated Marketing (IM), and Learning & Development (L&D) ensuring working teams fully understand the customer experience for all offers.
  • Represent Device Marketing on GTM and IM calls to answer questions from the business and address concerns as needed.
  • Ensure that promotional offers are tracked including results, costs, and run rates and manage a weekly cadence with HQ and Market leadership.
  • Use datatools such as Teradata SQL and ThoughtSpot in order to analyzepromotional offers.
  • Develop new opportunities for future promotional concepts by scoping out requirements and aligning with the business on the cost to build and priority in the development funnel.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Promotions or product experience and an understanding of trends and key business drivers.
  • Experience forecasting and reporting financials.
  • Experience using Teradata SQL and/or ThoughtSpot data analytic tools.
  • Project Management experience
  • Willingness to travel.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree, MBA or Master’s.
  • Experience working autonomously in a fast paced environment.
  • Experience outlining issues/challenges, while offering viable solutions and recommendations.
  • Problem solving and organization skills.
  • Experience presenting findings and insights targeted to what that audience cares about (up to the executive level).
  • Experience analyzing what’s important from a variety of sources to provide a holistic view of the marketplace, competitive factors, risks, and opportunities.
  • Experience juggling multiple priorities to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
