What you’ll be doing

As Executive Director within Verizon, this position oversees portfolios supporting key clients.

The ideal candidate is an experienced leader with a strong delivery, business development and operations background, who can bring strong people leadership and entrepreneurial spirit and business acumen to the role.

Strategy & Planning

  • Serve as a business leader for a portfolio within Verizon.
  • Drive profitable growth of your portfolio through selling more projects within existing accounts; growing key relationships
  • Manage specific key accounts and oversee delivery and account satisfaction on one or multiple accounts.
  • Expand key customer base; developing business.
  • Manage and direct a global staff.
  • Lead the go-to-market and channel strategies for new offerings and enhancements to existing services for your portfolio.
  • Create, roll out, and verify adherence to policies and processes.
  • Oversee order-to-billing functions to ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition on field activities.
  • Support portfolio monthly business reviews and other stated performance reporting requirements.
  • Develop and maintain close relationships to partners and customers in the ecosystem to tailor the strategy and products to the market, including smooth contracting and legal interactions to facilitate deal flow.


Manage your portfolio’s books of business:

  • Responsible for meeting group productivity targets, including but not limited to revenue, utilization targets by practice area, and per head productivity.
  • Control and manage spending in line with profitability targets, including oversight over capital requests and allocations.
  • Liaise with finance, marketing and sales to drive growth initiatives and maintain healthy business situational awareness.
  • Ensure smooth contracting and legal interactions to facilitate deal flow.
  • Support monthly business reviews and other stated performance reporting.
  • Measure and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain close interactions with customers and Verizon sales teams to collect front line feedback on service quality, feature set, and roadmap.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have;

  • A bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • 15 years of leadership experience.
  • Extensive experience in the transformational elements of technology.
  • Ability to interact as a peer at a senior level in client companies, and comfortable working at a senior level within complex organizations, with an ability to build empathy, credibility and trust with key customers.
  • Previous international experience or work for global organizations in preferred.

Even better if you have;

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, cybersecurity, engineering or related discipline
  • Experience working directly with senior leaders including CXO’s.
  • Ability to lead and develop a workforce of diverse talent.
  • Ability to build consensus across business units and international boundaries.
  • Strong technology background coupled with exceptional sales and presentation capabilities.
  • Experience working in and navigating a matrixed organization.
