Sourcing is responsible for the development and execution of sourcing strategies to leverage relationships across the enterprise to achieve best total value. Category management strategies and execution, supplier relationship management, negotiation, risk management and supply base performance management. You will be a dynamic professional with a transformational approach to Sourcing, with the knowledge, skills, abilities and experience to design and execute strategies in a global environment.
Reporting to the IT Category Sourcing Manager, you will be responsible for leading global cross functional teams in the development, communication and approval of sourcing strategies.
- Ensuring that category strategy’s result in and generate roadmaps of savings and value streams, and where appropriate, innovation opportunities.
- Monitoring of internal customers and supply markets for changes that may impact the sourcing strategy.
- Negotiating IT Master agreements (Licenses agreements, SaaS services, professional/consulting services and Service level agreements) with support from internal Legal teams.
- Leading global cross functional teams through the supplier selection process and for the approval of selected suppliers by stakeholders.
- Negotiating and finalizing of all contractual documentation.
- Planning and contracting with suppliers, ensuring that agreements reflect Verizon’s needs globally.
- Executing supplier relationship management activities for key assigned suppliers within the assigned categories, with oversight regarding supplier relationship management.

You’ll need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience.
- Experience in Sourcing.
Even better if you have:
- CIPS/IIPMM certifications.
- Strong negotiation skills and cost management practices.
- Written and verbal communication and problem solving skills.
- IT Sourcing and contract negotiation experience.
- Ability to work in a fast paced matrixed global environment.
- Strong interpersonal, influencing and communication skills.
- Costumer focused, self-motivated and able to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Project Management experiencein complex multi-project and multi-geography environment.
- Experience with SAP, Microsoft & Google Suite applications.
