What you’ll be doing...

As a Salesforce Sr. CRM Solution Provider, you’ll be asked to perform many functions while helping our sales, partners, and support users achieve their objectives. Your responsibilities will require leading the engagements with sales and sales support organizations to collect requirements and present strategies for the implementation of new programs/initiatives, as well as the presentation of solutions. These will include but not limited to, conducting requirements interview, documentation of business/technical requirements, solution options and presentation, UAT planning and script development, UAT execution, production shakeout, and pre and post go-live planning and support.

Often the sales and marketing organizations go through changes in organization and methods which must be quickly reflected in systems to maintain their relevance and effectiveness. Whether these are enhancements to existing processes or building of new ones, in any of these cases, you will be called upon to lead the efforts with business leaders to understand the actual changes and the objectives of the changes. This information would then be converted into specific technology initiatives to modify systems operations. As such, you will work with the technical and program management personnel to ensure the creation of effective plans to realize the change required to bring the systems in alignment – leading all activities from requirements to delivery and to post go-live support.

  • Lead, build and maintain world-class solutions using best practices in the areas of system decommissions (moving legacy systems to, lightning apps and components, custom apps, changes to core apps, AppExchange Apps, approvals, workflows, product configurators, custom Price Books, commission tools, dashboards, attainment, contest pages, etc., for sales and service clouds and partner community.
  • Recommend improvements to existing systems and processes.
  • Lead implementation of new processes and technologies.
  • Lead legacy systems’ decommission initiatives.
  • Lead collection and documentation of client user stories/requirements and feedback.
  • Lead certification of Solution Design.
  • Create Test Plans.
  • Conduct UAT.
  • Lead pre and post implementation plan.
  • Provide end-user support as needed.
  • Coordinate end-user support across all junior solution providers.

This position can be located in any valid Central or Eastern Time Zone Verizon location or work remotely within a reasonable commute distance to a valid Verizon location.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

•Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
•Six or more years of relevant work experience.
•Six or more years of leadership experience driving complex business solutions via
•Six or more years of managing solution implementation in – various methodologies.
•Experience in sales and service clouds, and partner community.
•Willingness to travel (25% or less).

• Admin and Consultant Certifications.
•Ability to solve diverse, complex, and crucial business problems.
•Self-directed with ability to work in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
•Ability to meet deadlines, communicate delays, clarify ambiguities.
•Ability to lead strategic/consultative sessions with clients.
•Experience with building/documentation of requirements, solution design, UAT prep and execution, and pre and post-go-live support.
•Experience working with integrations, data migration, building of custom apps (lightning or otherwise), UX for page layouts and record types, custom objects, sharing rules, workflow and validation rules, email templates, formulas, dashboards & reporting, and Sandbox-to-Production processes
