The Manager, Mobile Wireless Pricing Strategy is an individual contributor role responsible for defining and implementing pricing strategies for Verizon Business Group (VBG). You partner and collaborate across various stakeholders (product team, technology team, solutions team, business segments, marketing, finance, and contracting) to drive sustainable increases in profits. You will drive pricing excellence from strategy to execution across a number of key areas such as new products pricing launch excellence, competitive price strategy, lifecycle pricing, revenue and profit optimization, standard price and promotion guide, and discount policy.

  • Lead and manage the core wireless product pricing strategy over the lifecycle.
  • Evaluate competitive strategy and define and implement pricing to drive increases in profits.
  • Work across various stakeholders (products, business segments, marketing, finance, and contracting) to define and align on goals and how the business is going to win. Then determine pricing to attain those goals and monitor progress.
  • Create a comprehensive pricing approach by defining target customer segments, value proposition, market strategy, offering structure, price levels, and discount policies.
  • Monitor execution progress and make necessary adjustments to drive the successful adoption and financial attainment.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience with financial modeling and forecasting.
  • Willingness to travel.

Even better if you have:

  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to lead and facilitate pricing and market strategy development.
  • Product marketing experience.
  • Outline issues / challenges, while offering viable solutions and recommendations.
  • Ability to work across teams in a matrix environment to reach common goals.
  • New product pricing strategy, portfolio management experience, business unit & sales collaboration, and financial acumen.
  • Present target pricing recommendations and details.
