We have an immediate need for a Senior Network Operations Engineer to join our Development Operations team. You will help facilitate the deployment maintenance and performance tuning of our award-winning SaaS application. The role is for a Senior Network Engineer who enjoys ‘hands-on’ and is looking for the opportunity to influence and implement scalable Network solutions with a key emphasis on DevOps.

  • Network monitoring / reporting / configuration / troubleshooting using Solarwinds, Syslog, Netbrain and other tools.
  • Scheduling software and hardware upgrades.
  • Collaborating with System Engineers & Architects on Projects.
  • Securing Network systems by enforcing policies and ensuring access is monitored.
  • Running automation of Network activities.
  • Mentoring peers.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience.
  • Current CCNP and/or equivalent certification.
  • Proven experience as a Senior Network Engineer.
  • Experience with installation, operation and maintenance of Cisco equipment, specifically Nexus 2k, 5k, 7k / ASR & ISR Routers.
  • Knowledge of implementation, management and troubleshooting of dynamic routing protocols, specifically BGP and OSPF in Production environments.
  • Management experience of Firewalls.
  • Management experience of Loadbalancers.
  • Willingness to travel.

Even better if you have:

  • B.S. in computer science/engineering.
  • Experience working on Linux and Windows operating systems.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills.
  • Communications skills to clearly articulate complex technical issues to all levels of the organization (both technical and non-technical).
  • Ability to approach problems with a sense of ownership, enthusiasm, and innovation.
  • Experience in implementing operational automation.
  • Experience with MPLS.
  • Experience with AWS.
  • Scripting with a language such as Python.
  • Experience with Netbrain.
