What you’ll be doing...

At BlueJeans by Verizon, we’re transforming the way people meet by creating a human connection in every experience. Together, we’re bringing video to everyone, regardless of location or device, including mobile, desktop, or room systems. We work with thousands of companies worldwide to upgrade everyday meetings, large-scale events, and social network broadcasts by replacing traditional web conferencing with face-to-face video communication. All our customers have one trait in common: they understand the benefits to bringing their employees, leaders, and partners closer together. Since 2009, we have raised 175M dollarsin funding led by Accel Partners, Battery Ventures, NEA, and Norwest Venture Partners.

  • Design and deliver new features that improve product usage, grow the business, and make customers happy.
  • Create and prioritize a multi-release feature roadmap, in collaboration with customer success, sales, and engineering.
  • Own our product Point of View and directional roadmap including how it works with/leverages internal and external partner integrations.
  • Engage with customers, partners, and ISVs, along with product teams from across to prioritize the right features.
  • Represent as a product expert at customer interactions, industry and corporate events, and through community sites and social media.
  • Represent the customer. Be the champion and voice of customers. Build impactful, personal customer relationships. Bring the customer's voice into the creation process. Own requirements, specifications, and release plans. Own demos.
  • Collaborate across teams. We win or lose as a team. Product managers play a critical role in creating alignment between engineering teams and stakeholders.
  • Work in a team of other PMs who have dependencies on you and vice versa.
  • Work across various teams / clouds on hands-on Proof of concepts for newer features and architect them along with engineering.
  • Define our product strategy in partnership with engineering leadership and key business/product stakeholders.
  • Contribute to company-level strategic decisions by highlighting current and future state capabilities of the platform.
  • Define success metrics for the Platform team and drive a culture of continuous, data-driven improvements.
  • Actively monitor key business metrics and adjust team priorities as appropriate to deliver on financial and customer adoption goals.
  • Manage and develop a team of high-performing Product Managers.
  • Help drive overall Product Team culture: ownership, communication, measurement, and innovation.
  • Find opportunities to improve processes and focus on providing solutions and delivering results.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant workexperience.
  • Five or more years ofexperience in as a Product Manager.
  • Strong knowledge around the enterprise technology ecosystem as it relates to security, device deployment, and device management.
  • Experience setting appropriate success metrics and goals for a product at any stage of its lifecycle, with a strong understanding of what it takes to maintain the discipline of attaining the goals that are set.
  • Experience in working with hardware vendors and/or implementing API/SDK based developer programs.

Even better if you have:

  • Ability to empathize with the various customer personas that will encounter the product.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate with both technical and executive stakeholders.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills to articulate the vision internally and externally.
  • General understanding of the collaboration, conferencing, or video conferencing markets.
