What you’ll be doing...

The Senior Manager will lead a diverse operational team responsible for overseeing Verizon Bill to Cash policies, processes, people and systems to deliver timely and accurate customer invoicing, query management and the establishment of robust Order to Bill controls across Verizon’s Enterprise billing architecture; while partnering with business leaders to identify and mitigate financial, operational, legal, tax and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing the day-to-day delivery and execution of the revenue assurance controls around the multitude of complex processes in the VZ Enterprise billing architecture.

  • Utilizing finance, system and process experience to identify and implement transformational processes to ensure the team is operating as efficiently as possible.

  • Being a leader of change; embrace, execute and support Digital Finance opportunities to create scalable and repeatable initiatives.

  • Managing teams across matrix organizations to drive Bill to Cash processes and policies.

  • Driving global alignment of Bill to Cash processes across regions and Centres of Excellence.

  • Ensuring compliance to local in-country tax and regulatory requirements and partners with key regional stakeholders to capture future requirements and manage these through the Verizon GTS / CAPEX processes.

  • Identifying key performance indicators driving Revenue Acceleration, Cost Leakage, Automation and the delivery of a superior customer experience.

  • Measuring performance against goals and providing monthly updates to the B2C Director and other key stakeholders.

  • Ensuring all strategic efforts impacting Enterprise revenue streams are successfully supported, including all phases of the project lifecycle.

  • Identifying audit and control solutions to support new products or processes introduced into Enterprise revenue streams.

  • Developing and leveraging relationships with partner organizations to drive revenue and cost reduction for the business.

  • Leading the team by being a role model, identifies opportunities allowing for employee growth and assists the team in achieving all goals.

  • Driving performance excellence with effective communication, performance management and employee recognition.

  • Managing vendor relationships and driving cost efficiency.

  • Working under pressure, supporting multiple assignments with strong attention to detail.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Eight or more years of relevant work experience.

  • Willingness to travel is an added advantage

Even better if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics with four or more years of directly related equivalent experience.

  • CPA, CA, ACCA or equivalent qualification.

  • Strong leadership background, demonstrated experience in executing on transformational initiatives.

  • Ability to with minimal supervision be self-motivated and highly adaptable to change.

  • Proven effective management and leadership skills.

  • Solid experience in the communication industry and an understanding of Ordering, Provisioning, Cost and Billing systems.

  • Strong knowledge of the end to end flow of products and services offered to our customers.

  • Fluency in Mandarin (Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese), Cantonese, Japanese, Korean and/or Thai is essential to service regional clients/stakeholders.
