What you’ll be doing...

Global HR Services (GHRS) Consultant provides administrative and operational support such as employee p-file management, verification of employment, records requests, special projects etc. Provide advice to internal customers on pension, benefits, hiring, termination and/or payroll plans. GHRS Specialist is held responsible to input, process, verify and maintain the plans in their area of specialty within established time and quality standards to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. Ensure that plans are administered in accordance with plan provisions, company policies and legislative requirements.

  • Verify, process and input activity mainly for Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Australia, Korea within established time and quality standards to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction

  • Process customer transactions within established time and quality standards

  • Responsible for customer enquiries through tickets, phone calls and email

  • Provide support during Audit / SOX activities

  • Confirm data accuracy and maintain appropriate controls for audit verification

  • Receive, review and process Leave of Absence requests

  • Receive and process forms for H&W (health and welfare) Benefit related enrollment/changes/termination and severance administration

  • Provide operational support for HR processes such as recruiting, background investigation, onboarding, termination, compensation change, org management, expatriates, country transfer, etc.

  • Work with Government bodies for tax, provident fund and employment pass related matters

  • Possess knowledge of legislative and employment laws for Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Australia, Korea

  • Monitor and maintain various HR tools and systems, such as PeopleSoft, Workday, Content Management Tool, etc.

  • APAC country specific benefits program verification, claims processing and vendor billing (e.g. premiums reconciliation, pension, medical, life Insurance renewal, etc.)

  • Participate in special projects as well as other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the GHRS management

  • Understand sensitivity of employee information and maintain employee confidentiality

  • Identify and recommend routine improvements to operating efficiency and productivity. Advise Management of opportunities to modify existing processes

  • Openly share relevant business experience and expertise with the wider HR community

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Degree in Human Resource Management or a related field, or four or more years of relevant experience
  • Four or more years of experience in Human Resources
  • Experience with and knowledge of defined HR and operational processes required for the job and applies that expertise to daily tasks.
  • Proficiency in G-suite applications, Oracle PeopleSoft, Workday and general computer applications

Even better if you have

  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, changing and high pressure work environment, and always act with a sense of urgency.

  • Comfortable working in a Customer Service Center environment, preferably with Service Center experience.

  • Strong customer orientation and focus

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Analytical and problem solving skills
