What you’ll be doing...

Global Voice Implementation is tasked with deploying and modernizing the Global Verizon VoIP network which provides VoIP services to enterprise customers.

  • Deploying new VoIP nodes to support network growth in APAC.
  • Deploying SDN (Software Defined Network) equipment for the Verizon Cloud Platform (VCP) in APAC.
  • Upgrading, swapping out, or decommissioning end-of-life VoIP devices in APAC.
  • Coordinating migration of Voice/VoIP traffic as needed.
  • Assessing and approving large customer capacity requests in APAC.
  • Turning up SIP Interconnects between Verizon and other voice carriers in the region.
  • Supporting Audio Conferencing platform(s) in APAC.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant experience with knowledge of Telecom Networks and relevant equipment.
  • Networking experience with VoIP/SIP devices (e.g., routers, firewalls, servers, session border controllers, IP switches).
  • Experience working collaboratively in large cross-functional teams (both internal to Verizon and with external vendors).
  • Experience working independently and seeking out information and contacts.
  • Experience working collaboratively in large cross-functional teams (both internal to Verizon and with external vendors).
  • Willingness to work occasional flexible hours in order to attend meetings with US and EMEA peers.
  • Willingness to travel is an added advantage
  • Experience managing projects.
