What you’ll be doing...

This opportunity is for Military personnel who are current participants of Hiring Our Heroes Corporate Fellowship Program Cohort 2-2021. This position requires validating and optimizing a massive distributed antenna system in a stadium setting. The candidate will be running a battery test at each antenna and working with a peer to record measurements or vice versa. Requires a lot of walking throughout the venue. When not working at the stadium, the candidate will be recording measurements at a remote location. Must have adequate computer skills with Google suite of tools, e.g shared drive, sheets, slides.

  • Accuracy of running test procedure and recording measurements.
  • Ability to take instructions and formulate a plan to follow
  • Able to work as a team to achieve goal
  • Speak up when something doesn’t seem correct.
  • Perform simple statistics to identify outlier measurements
  • Report writing identifying an issue to system developer to address.
  • Project management for resolution of a problem.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Must be a current participant of Hiring our Heroes Corporate Fellowship Program Cohort 2-2021.
  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Willingness to work some nights.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • A degree in electrical engineering.
  • Experience in the cellular industry. Ideally, with network experience.
  • Experience with RF propagation tools and radio test equipment, like Ascm, DataPro, Spectrum Analyzers, Actix, Windcatcher, or RF Scanners.
  • Understanding of intermodulation, distortion, interference detection, and mitigation techniques.
  • Understanding of antenna characteristics or antenna system design and selection.
  • Understanding of frequency planning constraints and requirements such as C/I, co and adjacent channel criteria.
  • Understanding of LTE, VoLTE, Evdo, or CDMA.


In addition:

  • Understanding of 5G, SON, LAA, and CBRS is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel required.
