Come join the evolution of Business Transformation 3.0 where your work will be highly visible and directly impact the future of our Verizon Consumer Group business on behalf of our core constituencies. As a Transformation leader you will be responsible for enabling bold strategic shifts for transformational outcomes.

We are hiring Transformation Strategy Managers to lead change and champion initiatives on the Business Transformation Team, this role will be focused on supporting the overall BT 3.0 strategy. Using AI, BPM, VLSS tools and methodologies for numerous large initiatives, you will transform data into insights and make recommendations to improve and transform our business. You will work cross-functionally and use your creativity to explore ways to drive meaningfully positive change within the organization. With a blend of strategic thinking, business process & change management, and operational experience, in this role you will be a leader with a seat at the table to influence and drive change. You will uncover long term transformational strategies, with a blue-sky approach for developing a strategic plan.

  • Develop transformation strategy and evaluate opportunities for the creation of complex business cases/models with AI, VLSS tools and methodologies, and thorough analysis and understanding of key drivers, assumptions, and scenarios.
  • Collaborate with Field and HQ cross-functional leaders in prioritization of initiatives as well as the development of overall strategic initiatives and roadmaps for assigned channels/work streams.
  • Identify business gaps, defining process and technical solutions and developing recommendations with limited direction, usually within a complex and often ambiguous environment, to drive rigorous, fact-based recommendations to senior management, other executive, functional, or regional management while supporting syndication with stakeholders across the organization.

You are a subject matter expert and leverage your business experience to enhance and accelerate outcomes

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Willingness to travel to the customer or field locations as the project needs demand.
  • Experience with effective interaction with senior executives.
  • Experience creating and presenting presentations to all levels of an organization.
  • Significant experience developing, implementing and tracking metrics, data analysis and reporting at the organizational level.

Even better if you have:

  • Master’s degree in business, technology, or related functions.
  • Master Black Belt, Project Management, Lean and/or Six Sigma, or Change Management Certifications.
  • Two or more years of experience as a team leader and change agent.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional teams to meet business objectives and influence co-workers while fostering strong working relationships.
  • Experience in tier 1 management consulting company or a corporate strategy department, with a focus on strategy
  • Strong consulting skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution.
  • Experience influencing key stakeholders through relationships, expertise and data.
  • Data management, architecture, analysis and agile development experience.
  • Consumer, financial services, or technology sector knowledge with ideally, multi-channel distribution.
  • Experience with Tableau or similar tools.
  • Design Thinking experience.
