What you’ll be doing...

The Network Systems Field Operations organization is responsible for implementing tools, solutions and innovation to help a field force of approximately 20K technicians better serve our customers. As a development lead you will be responsible for the delivery of Network Systems strategic initiatives in the field force & dispatch domains, in an agile & cutting edge environment. You will collaborate with various internal teams on new technologies to make it easy for our customers to do business with us. This position is catered towards supporting GNO (Global Network operations) organization.

  • Work closely with GNO business organization and vendor teams to help in developing/integrating solutions for GNO.
  • Drive Implementing automation of repeated manual processes to drive efficiency (RPA).
  • Drive the unified center/field experience for all GNO applications using common frameworks and shared services.
  • Perform proof-of-concepts for validating new technology or approaches.
  • Support deployments, issue tracking and debugging issues.
  • Monitor KPIs to identify problems and opportunities.
  • Perform agile software delivery process using Jira/Jenkins and Rally tools.

What we’re looking for...

You’re tech savvy, and well-versed in all things telecommunications. Working independently is as comfortable for you as being part of a team. No stranger to a fast-paced environment, you manage multiple assignments, and competing priorities while staying focused on important deadlines. As a strong communicator, you can quickly build relationships with a diverse range of people and explain complex technical issues in a way that everyone can understand.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience using agile development methods(SAFE) and DevOps tools.
  • Knowledge of micro services, web technologies and two or more years of SQL development experience.
  • Knowledge of systems integration, security compliance and data analysis.
  • Experience with REST API design and development.

Even better if you have:

  • Experience with various GNO applications like PC, BGW, Canvas, CoFEE and dispatch applications.
  • Abilityto work with UX/vendor and business teams to drive the centralized UX experience using common micro services.
  • Knowledge of AWS and experience in development of applications on AWS.
  • Experience with Emerging technologies like Kubernetes/Docker.
  • Full stack development experience.
