What you’ll be doing...
As the Senior Manager of the Transformation and Governance functions, you will be responsible for driving key global transformation initiatives. You will also be responsible in building a highly motivated and talented team, coaching and mentoring them towards delivering business benefits aligned to the overall Verizon & GTS Strategy. You will also partner with business units to establish goals, influence and effectively communicate the vision set by Senior Leadership.
- Drive the overall Global Delivery Model (GDM) as a primary lead of the GRM function.
- Lead efforts in identifying synergies across delivery teams and work towards optimizing processes and resources to leverage Communities of Practices/ Center of Excellences by facilitating collaboration and sharing of knowledge & best practices.
- Optimize 3rd party governance for Verizon India by establishing clear processes to improve transparency, drive accountability and increase efficiency across T&Ms, SOWs and Managed services.
- Drive programs and initiatives to enable the vendors and employees with the right infrastructure solutions.
- Drive key enablement programs related to Clearance Simplification & Environment Homogenization.
- Ensure alignment and transformation of all support functions towards delivering the priorities for Verizon India.
What we’re looking for...
You should have excellent communication, project management, and strategic thinking skills. You'll report to the Associate Director, Transformation & Governance, Verizon India. You should be someone who firmly believes in developing people, staying curious and driving the right culture/behaviors in the organization.
You'll need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree or twelveor more years of work experience.
- Six or more years of relevant work experience.
- Experience in defining IT operating model, governance structure.
- Proven Project management, finance, budgeting, vendor management and strategic thinking skills.
- Willing to travel
Even better if you have:
- Ability to influence, manage external stakeholders and manage the social system.
- Master's in business administration.
- Highly developed analytical, and critical thinking skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Experience working in a diverse and dynamic environment.
- Interpersonal skills, and stakeholder management including working with Strategy, Planning, Finance, Compliance, IT Security, Cyber Security, HR, legal & Business teams to enable seamless employee experience within the organization.
- Capability to manage relationships with ability to managing diverse teams & experience of working across cross cultural teams.
