What you’ll be doing...

The Executive Global Account Manager drives and manages the overall account strategy and direction for a global/strategic account within Verizon. They are the Single Point of Contact and owns the business relationship (“C” suite level), and overall strategy with the client (organizational environment, including formal and informal power structures, motivations of key stakeholders and how decisions are made). You will provide guidance and thought leadership to the client on how to solve business problems through integrated Verizon solutions. This role directly deploys and manages client executive/client partner/managing partner and sales associate resources to guide and execute funnel opportunities and the existing, run-rate business as well as strategic advanced solutions. You will operate in a matrix structure and lead a team of deal experts, professional service consultants, solutions specialists, solutions architects and customer service consultants. Those resources could be dedicated or shared across multiple accounts.

  • Hosting and distributed server environments.

  • Providing world class information assurance solutions.

  • Providing global data and voice based WAN & LAN services.

  • Providing wireless and mobility services.

  • Providing end-to-end communications and user experience service management.

  • Conducting IP based communications and managed services.

  • Utilizing out-tasking and outsourcing.

  • Providing professional services across all practice areas.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.

  • Global / international experience selling solutions / services to major multinationals.

  • People leadership/management experience of five or more years.

  • 5+ years of experience selling into large enterprise CPG space.

  • Willingness to travel.

  • Valid driver's license.

Even better if you have:

  • MBA

  • Experience managing a P&L.

  • C-level executive relationship creation and development experience.

  • Proven track record of integrated solutions sales success.

  • Experience operating in a matrix organization and managing a global team.

  • Organizational and process re-design and implementation experience.

  • Consultative solutions thought leadership experience with Fortune 500 accounts.

  • Experience with sales force development, training and re-engineering for solutions-based selling.

  • Experience with customer business case development based on TCO/ROI/ROCE techniques.

  • Ability to coordinate the activity of internal and external resources (TPV partners).
