What you’ll be doing...

As the leader in the Corporate Systems Group organization in Verizon India, the leader will be responsible for building a highly motivated and talented team, coaching and mentoring them to deliver high-quality products and services. In addition, this role provides leadership that promotes teamwork, employee respect, empowerment, and open communication. Sets strategic direction and governs delivery for Verizon business, develops and maintains SLA's alongside internal business partners that meet or exceed expectations.

  • Deliver, support, and maintain Human Capital Management and open systems applications ( Web, Mobile, Content Management, search engines, web analytical tools and conversational chatbots) for employee experience.
  • Focus on excellence in delivery by showing marked operational difference in the development life cycle – on-time delivery, Unit testing, and automation.
  • Deliver results within budget, time, quality and strategic and tactical key performance goals.
  • Drive agility in delivery and carry out successful execution of large scale complex programs in a Global setup working in a collaborative model with US teams.
  • Partner with global delivery & business teams to establish goals , influence and effectively communicate/execute the vision with the team.
  • Groom and lead the delivery teams and manage through complexities of changes to adjust to business needs.
  • Review and hold the vendor partners accountable for efficiency and quality of deliverables.
  • Enable DevOps across the portfolio by implementing and supporting integrated cloud, testing, security, and operational tools.
  • Evaluate technology and platform choices while balancing between time to market, cost, scale, and Employee experience.
  • Develop a culture of experimentation and iterative development.
  • Representing and participating in various conferences and workshops.
  • Lead emerging technology direction, facilitate key decision points, and convert requirements into working product outcomes and drive integration with various vendor products.
  • Document and comply with software quality, data security, and compliance processes.
  • Hire, retain, develop high performing motivated talent and leaders. Manages teams in both direct and matrix structures.
  • Manage multi-skilled contractors and employees in India. Develop a strong leadership pipeline.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Information Technology, or a related field or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Six or more years of technology leadership, including a solid understanding of technology selection, architecture, and full stack implementation.
  • Demonstrated track record of developing and launching successful, on-time and innovative software.
  • Understanding of developing and managing large scale enterprise applications.
  • Considerable experience in Human Capital Management(HR/HCM systems), Content Management , Chatbot application, QA and CI environments
  • Demonstrated experience in partnering with Business and IT teams at multiple levels to drive alignment and delivery of complex problems.
  • Experience in business process transformation, user experience optimization.
  • Direct people management experience, including leadership of diverse global teams.

Even better if you have:

  • Master's degree in business administration.
  • Strong presentation skills to communicate complex concepts effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead multiple transformations.
  • Ability to define the problem and build solution consensus across multiple teams, multiple vendors, including executive stakeholder building.
  • Certifications on project management.
  • Expereince in AI Ops.
