Visible Engineering is looking to hire a Data Visualization Engineer to join our data operations and analytics team.

  • Understanding and managing the various data sources coming into our data warehouse and organizing into tables and views for optimal ability to fetch and retrieve the data for analysis.
  • Performing reconciliation and validation between multiple warehouses and sources to ensure data is accurate and reliable.
  • Developing our data semantic layer to be able to allow for a self-service model for our stakeholders.
  • Creating dashboards and handling data requests from the business.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years work experience.
  • Four or more year of relevant work experience.
  • Hands-on experience in analytics solution design, configuration and reporting.
  • Experience working with large, complex data sets.
  • Experience in data analytics and statistics skills.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.
  • Data governance/validation expert.
  • Experience in Data Warehouse ETL design and development, methodologies, tools, processes, and best practices.
  • Ability to conduct insightful analysis of data to help clients answer key business questions.
  • Ability to build dashboards and reports using Google Data Studio, Tableau, or other business intelligence and data visualization tools.
  • Working knowledge of big query.
  • Experience with writing SQL based queries to extract data for analysis.
  • Experience with Python, R or any other scripting language.
  • Experience creating data semantic layer for data visualization tools like Looker or Tableau.
  • Written and verbal communication skills and ability to succinctly summarize key findings.
  • Train business stakeholders on how to access and leverage their data to make informed decisions.
  • Experience with the following tools and applications - Big query, SQL, Data Studio, Looker, Tableau, R, Python, GCP Data Flow, NiFi.

For part-timers, your coverage will vary as you may be eligible for some of these benefits depending on your individual circumstances.

If you are hired into a Colorado work location, the compensation range for this position is between $91,100 and $169,100 based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience.  This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
