What you’ll be doing...

Point of Sale (POS) is a suite of application systems geared to support users within several internal departments to process a variety of customer transactions, including equipment sales and ordering, airtime service sales, bill payments, equipment returns and repairs, account maintenance, pricing, inventory and discounting and rebates.

  • Code, validate and implement software solutions and code reviews.
  • Gain understanding on the existing system architecture and flow.
  • Participate in the application requirements review meetings and perform requirement analysis.
  • Handle change requests/support on a daily basis.
  • Involve in all phases of the development cycle and analyze gaps on an ongoing basis.
  • Ensure to improve performance of the application on an ongoing basis.
  • Ensure 100% availability of the application.
  • Mentor/guide new team members.
  • Learn while on the job and show measurable results.
  • Partner with QA team to address the identified defects on time.
  • Participate in post implementation issues and performance review.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have :

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in developing large scale enterprise applications.
  • Strong knowledge of design patterns in the enterprise application integration and development space.
  • Fouror more years of experience in Java/J2EE,Angular 2, Spring , Spring boot, Micro services.
  • Struts 1.x, Spring & Hibernate, Javascript, Servlet, Jquery experience.
  • WSDL, XML, SOAP, Log4j experience.
  • Strong Agile / Scrum development methodologies with hands on experience.
  • CI/CI DevOps integration experience.
  • Knowledge of Microservices (Sprinboot) Technologies.
  • AWS Cloud technology, preferable AWS Certified.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Performance engineering/testing automation tools experience.
  • Worked in a large enterprise application especially in the Retail domain.
  • Self-starter with strong analytical skills; team oriented.
  • Excellent quantitative, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet critical deadlines.
