What you’ll be doing...

Responsible for the implementation, support, and security of communication infrastructure technologies, particularly the network, video, network security, and unified communications components. Utilize technical knowledge and hands-on experience in various protocols, technologies, and concepts for data, video and voice. Must be proactive in identifying and resolving technical challenges.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve advanced system and user issues.
  • Support pre-production and production deployment, configuration, testing while ensuring best practices are followed and recommendations communicated.
  • Provide detailed technical documentation including solution high/low level design, platform build/configuration, troubleshooting, and operational procedures.
  • Work with engineering teams to review current issues to ensure successful support of new solutions and platforms through means of documentation and training.
  • Follow all infrastructure security policies.
  • Perform system and user analysis to resolve advanced system problems.
  • Analyze, monitor and optimize information technology infrastructure performance.
  • Provide input to supervisor for process change, enterprise system priorities and team goals.
  • Ensure all troubleshooting procedures are documented according to approved standards.
  • Communicate technical information to non-technical personnel.
  • Apply customer service and technical expertise to respond to client on the phone remotely troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software related problems.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Four or more years of experience in the field, in positions of increasing complexity and/ or responsibility across a range of products.
  • One or more industry certifications or advanced level certifications Qualified to work as a team lead.
  • Experience in planning and deployment of relevant tools or equipment.
  • Experience with technology migrations and upgrades.

Even better if you have:

  • Ability to identify and communicate key performance indicators.
  • Experience dealing with support and vendors.
