What you’ll be doing...

Supports Tier 3 engineering efforts that provide engineering, technical, and managerial direction for problem definition, analysis, requirement development, and implementation for complex systems in the UC/VTC/VOIP engineering discipline. Participates in efforts that develop recommendations and advice on system development, improvements, optimization, or support efforts.

  • Perform engineering for core VOIP infrastructure equipment, hardware, software, and services by performing moves, adds, changes, password resets, administering hunt groups, administering enhanced call forwarding, enabling abbreviated dialing, and administering team/workgroup lines.
  • Perform engineering for VOIP endpoints, to include installation of hardware devices, installation of firmware updates, performing routine maintenance and device replacements, coordination of OEM repairs, and conducting initial training of VOIP service users.
  • Oversee the technical work completed by other contractors, approve and/or provide corrections to services/deliverables, and perform other team lead duties assigned.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Four or more years of experience in the field, in positions of increasing complexity and/ or responsibility across a range of products.
  • One or more industry certifications or advanced level certifications Qualified to work as a team lead.
  • Experience in planning and deployment of relevant tools or equipment.
  • Experience with technology migrations and upgrades.

Even better if you have:

  • Ability to identify and communicate key performance indicators.
  • Experience dealing with support and vendors.
