What you’ll be doing...

The Senior Experience Specialist will lead the ongoing optimization of a new Omni digital platform that currently exists in a digital kiosk format at Verizon Express Stores, Verizon Retail Stores, vending machines, lockers and Door to Door sales application. The role will be responsible for maintaining and improving all experiences on this platform.This position will require coordination with numerous teams to ensure all go-to-market projects are implemented on time and per plan. You will drive cross-functional collaboration with constituents beyond digital, including alignment of vision, key strategies, technologies and success metrics to enhance business performance, productivity and long-term profitability.

You will actively keep a pulse on commerce targets and performance. You understand the current state of the business, prospect expectations, marketplace demands and technology. You will stay abreast of digital capabilities, industry research and analyze market conditions, and sales funnel analytics to advise on the challenges and drive forward opportunities that will deliver the future state digital distribution strategy.

  • Serve as a point of contact on all aspects of optimization of the Omni digital platforms.
  • Work with Design, IT, and Go To Market teams to ensure the effective launches of promotions, devices, and features on the application.
  • Develop marketing requirements and technical specifications for flow optimization and features within the sales funnel.
  • Work with design and User Experience resources to create industry leading experiences.
  • Develop effective business requirements and user stories that can be used to create digital experiences.
  • Support projects with considerable scope and/or complexity with significant impact on customer experience.
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues or roadblocks that may impair the ability to meet strategic, financial and technical goals.
  • Identify opportunities for user testing and leverage results to course-correct or optimize.
  • Work with digital analytics to define metrics and dashboards to measure flow engagement, orders and conversion rate.
  • Clearly and efficiently communicate the strategy and status to management.

What we’re looking for...

You are asales-focused, analytically driven, results-oriented and have a solid understanding of digital user experience concepts.You have a strong digital eCommerce background working in all platforms (desktop, tablet, mobile browser, mobile application).

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Three or more years professional experience in digital operations with backgrounds in sales, strategy or products.
  • Deep understanding of online or application user experience and design concepts and best practices.
  • Experience with digital marketing or sales.
  • Understanding of the Android and iOS application marketplace and ecosystem.
  • Experience working in an Agile product development environment and experience with the Jira system is highly sought after.

Even better if you have:

  • An MBA or degree in Digital Marketing or an equivalent field.
  • Ability to execute and overcome obstacles in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to understand financial business cases.
  • Strong communicator with a keen ability to simplify complex concepts and build consensus across teams.
  • Strong logic, quantitative and analytical skills.
  • Digital experience, digital marketing and digital product management either in a business, agency or consulting organization.
  • Experience in creating road maps and developing robust business cases to support and prioritize new concepts and opportunities.
  • Experience using analytical methods to create project analysis and recommendation support.
  • Understanding of the Android and iOS application marketplace and ecosystem is a plus.
  • Experience working in an Agile product development environment and experience with the Jira system is highly sought after.
