What you’ll be doing...

As a Business Analyst on the Digital team, you will be responsible for identifying and resolving opportunities to promote Verizon’s key products and services throughout the customer’s digital journey. Products and services to include both physical merchandise (e.g. Cellular Devices and Accessories), an assortment of subscription products and services (e.g. Calling Plans, Television Service, Internet Service, Device Protection, etc.), and associated Promotions.

You will partner with a wide range of internal digital business partners to define the digital aspects of key product launches and marketing campaigns. In addition, you will leverage a number of data sources, market trends, and your knowledge of digital merchandising best practices to proactively define and improve in-channel advertisements and product-related content to maximize engagement and the conversion of visitors into shoppers.

You will work with business owners to understand new content/functionality changes going into production during overnight releases. You will then represent those business owners, speaking to whether new content/functionality are displayed and working as expected, according to business requirements, to provide sign-off. If the changes do not meet expectations, you will provide guidance to implementation partners with regard to how new content/functionality differs, so it can be corrected.

You should be able to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment to ensure the on-time delivery of time-sensitive projects. This position encompasses both the Strategy and Planning aspect of Digital Sales and Merchandising, as well as some tactical execution work to procure assets and facilitate implementation.

  • Leverage engagement, sales, voice-of-customer, and other sources of data to both analyze the performance of Merchandising campaigns or initiatives and identify insights for future improvements.
  • Auditing of Customer Journey throughout Digital Sales Process and communicating opportunities back to respective business team.
  • Work extensively with Project Management resources to define digital sales requirements, timelines, and execution plans, and contribute to change and risk management activities related to implementation.
  • Leverage Merchandising team workflow, tracking, and work-management processes and tools to request and review assets, and facilitate their implementation with various execution teams.
  • Partner with testing, merchandising, and optimization stakeholders and partners to identify and execute merchandising-related A/B, multivariate, and AI-driven content, design, and placement tests.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience with the digital merchandising of physical products and/or subscription products in a digital environment.
  • Working knowledge of digital marketing, Creative, and Content Development fundamentals.
  • Working knowledge of digital UI/UX best practices.

Even better if you have:

  • Ability to periodically support key Merchandising initiatives that may occur at night, on weekends, or over holidays.
  • Analytics skills and comfort with Engagement and Sales-related data analysis.
  • Experience with audience-specific merchandising or personalization.
  • Experience with common digital SDLC processes for managing product and marketing content.
  • Problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Verbal, written, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Proven ability to manage deadlines and multiple/simultaneous, highly complex, cross-functional projects/initiatives.
  • Ability to work well within a team environment and under the pressure of very stringent deadlines.
  • Knowledgeable in either the G-Suite or Microsoft Office document-related applications (e.g. PowerPoint/Slides, Excel/Sheets, etc.)
