What you’ll be doing...

Verizon is actively looking for a Digital project coordinator focused on managing day-to-day operations of projects. You will interact with developers, release managers, application engineers, product managers, and third-party vendors to support project related activities.

  • Communicate project initiatives and tasks to team members and project team members clearly and regularly.
  • Respond to feedback and status reports from the project team and revise the project tasks and/or timeline as necessary.
  • Work with product managers to identify, triage and resolve project roadblocks.
  • Prepare and communicate release readiness activities to internal teams.
  • Monitor project progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; publishing progress; recommending actions.
  • Prepare operational reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
  • Support the Defect Management team on prioritization and triaging digital issues.
  • Deliver regular performance and production burden reports (daily, weekly, and monthly).
  • Track and gather data for measuring trends and identifying areas for improvements.
  • Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Project Management or other related field, or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Four or more years of experience in project management (technical preferred).
  • Experience in mobile technologies.
  • Four or more years of experience in the digital ecommerce domain.
  • Willing to work flexible hours, as needed, to address production issues, releases and validation.

Even better if you have:

  • JIRA and Confluence experience.
  • Ability to interact effectively with internal business teams, at different levels of the organization.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Google G-Suite experience.
  • Extensive experience working in an onshore/offshore matrixed organization.
