What you’ll be doing...

You will communicate well and take swift, effective action whilst proactively solving complex problems with little or no guidance. You will work successfully within a team environment, build effective working relationships, maintain a comprehensive awareness of the organization and become the “go-to” person for support activities.

  • Working closely with the Leaders, the Global Enterprise Sales teams, other Verizon teams, partners, and customers.
  • Managing complex calendar and scheduling requirements across multiple time zones.
  • Providing seamless support to senior leaders using prioritization of business activities.
  • Travel coordination (both domestic and international) – post covid-19.
  • Expense reporting, Invoice processing.
  • Tracking and help driving completion of key deliverables and follow up on outstanding item.
  • Driving key team activities (such as staff meeting agendas, all hands meetings, supply ordering, and recurring events such as annual planning sessions and performance reviews).
  • Working with other assistants across the company (APAC, EMEA, US).

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or one or more years of work experience.
  • Executive Assistant experience or equivalent.
  • Experience assisting at the executive level.
  • Experience with travel coordination.
  • Experience with reconciling expenses.
  • Fluency in Japanese and English both written and verbal.
  • Experience with G suite, especially Gmail Google Calendar, G drive, Google spreadsheet etc.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Demonstrated ability to earn trust and operate with sensitivity and tact concerning confidential matters.
  • Experienced with and enjoys working with diverse teams and cultures.
  • Ability to quickly learn organizational structures, team and company objectives.
  • Ability to handle administrative details independently while exercising good judgment in keeping team members adequately informed.
  • Demonstrated project management skills.
  • Creative approach to problem solving and event planning.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion, and deal with professionals inside and outside the company.
  • Ability to work in a highly ambiguous environment.
  • Understands how to achieve set goals while building bridges across teams.
