What you’ll be doing...

You will explore what our people need to learn to be even better. Your programs and learning approaches will align with our business needs and be highly effective and in tune with our culture. You will be a leader in executing on learning solutions that are engaging, fun and most importantly, build those capabilities needed around VBG products and technology to enable our VBG service workforce to be ready for the 4th industrial revolution.

  • Translate impact of product and technology launches in the go to market stream to VBG service roles such as Service Managers, Order and Delivery, Project Managers, and Engineers and develop the learning solution to meet the learning need.
  • Partner with product and technology L&D sales teams to ensure alignment and readiness to support the customer lifecycle
  • Keep all L&D client engagement stakeholders informed on latest product and technology learning resources.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to determine learning needs and the best delivery approach.
  • Use innovative learning modalities and tools such as social learning, hand on/application based simulations, gamification, and collaboration platforms to deliver quality content for sales, products, customer service, and employee development
  • Managing projects to create effective learning solutions on time and on budget.
  • Evaluating program effectiveness and continuously improving our solutions.
  • Providing regular updates to senior leadership on progress and results achieved.
  • Maintain a pulse on technology industry hypertrends (Cloud-Computing, 5G, Data/AI, Cybersecurity, etc) at all times.
  • Deliver quality classroom instruction.
  • Assist with on-going projects as requested.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%, including domestic and international, on an annual basis.

You’ll need to have...

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • 6 or more years of relevant work experience in either Product, L&D, GN&T, or VBG Service or Sales or combination of those areas.
  • Experience designing custom learning programs using alternative delivery methods.

Even better if you have...

  • A degree.
  • Implementation/Deployment/Development experience in relevant product areas.
  • Consulted with HR professionals and their business clients.
  • Background in the technology space of cloud computing, 5G, security, data/AI,VLSS.
  • Experience working in cross-matrixed teams.
  • Experience conducting training needs assessments and developing training plans.
  • Skill in data storytelling.
