We are currently hiring for Network Security Consultants to join our Professional Services team in Belgium.

  • Work with the biggest Belgium and EMEA based clients, delivering consulting on the best-in class networking security technology solutions and technologies.
  • Lead the technical build and testing of solutions either through direct personal involvement or through guidance of 3rd parties (e.g. managed services support teams).
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to understand business requirements and prepare appropriate technical solution designs at both high and low levels.
  • Support in the preparation of statement of work (SOW) documentation including work breakdown estimates.
  • Take ownership of your projects and proactively engage with Verizon cross-functional teams.
  • Support and actively participate in the business development of the practice by identifying additional business opportunities within the client base.
  • Maintain day to day records of project work to allow accurate billing and reporting of consultancy time.
  • Proactively work with the Practice Manager to ensure your skills are maintained and aligned with the needs of the practice.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience.
  • Strong technical expertise in security technologies such as: Cisco security products, Checkpoint, Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Experience in security infrastructure deployments in AWS, GCP and/or Azure.
  • Experience participating in network & system security projects to provide: Business requirements analysis and support for Solutions Architects.
  • Experience in production of detailed infrastructure designs including physical and virtual aspects of security components.
  • Experience building, maintaining, reviewing all configs / settings / policies on chosen technologies.
  • Experience with migration of complex legacy infrastructures to new managed security services platforms.
  • Experience of multi-vendor, managed outsourcing environments.
  • Experience working with operational environments following ITIL frameworks.
  • Experience with large scale projects and associated delivery methodologies.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • CISSP or equivalent.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills (technical and non-technical).
  • Industry certifications such as CCIE, CCNA, CISSP, CCSE, MCSE,Palo Alto CNSE
  • Certifications related to cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Experience in technical presales activities (scoping, LoE…)
  • Exposure to other cybersecurity domains (endpoint protection, cloud security, vulnerability management…)
