What you’ll be doing...

As a Hispanic Segment Content Strategist, you’ll contribute to content strategy recommendations and lead content design and UX writing for our Hispanic digital experiences. You’ll work collaboratively with senior content strategists, UX designers, Marketing copywriters, visual designers and Digital experience managers to create experiences our customers can understand, use and enjoy! Additionally, you’ll grow your skills through mentoring and training and have opportunities to advance.

  • Define and create content that is accessible, understandable, actionable and engaging across touchpoints.
  • Follow overall voice and tone guidelines.
  • Write and edit UX copy – including product tours, notifications, transactional flows, error messages and more.
  • Understand objectives and success criteria for content, gather and analyze existing content, and make constructive suggestions for improving content.
  • Partner with design researchers to help create defined content research stimuli.
  • Understand technical requirements and constraints and design appropriate content.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure copy follows branding guidelines, is legally compliant, and in line with the expectations.
  • Ensure Spanish content expresses the Marketing and UX vision and is relatable and authentic to the Hispanic audience.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Fluency in Spanish both written and verbal.
  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Six years of content strategy experience.
  • Six years of experience writing for web and mobile experiences with a UX focus (rather than marketing, content marketing).
  • Two years of experience writing digital marketing content and merchandising copy for a Hispanic audience.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Spanish, Communications, Professional & Technical Writing, Design, or a related field.
  • Flawless spelling and grammar; fully familiar with guidelines and recommendations of Real Academia Española.
  • Ability to write and edit accurately, creatively, on brand and on-strategy in a fast-paced environment.
  • Working knowledge of Sketch, Invision and related design tools.
  • Experience working in an Agile team or with sprint-based tasks and deadlines.
  • Awareness of secondary areas including UX design, visual design, research, information architecture.
  • Familiarity with human-centered design methodologies and empathy for end users.
  • A portfolio of relevant work.
