What you’ll be doing...

The Digital Marketing Center of Excellence at Verizon is hiring an SEO Strategist to join a diverse team that is distributed across the globe, and is focused on driving demand for Verizon Connect's suite of fleet and field work management products. In this role, you will be responsible for managing SEO. Working closely with our site development and content creation teams, you will ensure the right visitors reach our sites, have a great user experience, and convert into leads.

  • Supporting cohesive, compelling SEO strategies that guide the development & content processes.
  • Collaborating closely with the Operations and Design teams to ensure SEO requirements are deeply integrated into applications.
  • Communicating the importance and principles of SEO to audiences of varying familiarity.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Knowledge of technical SEO principles, both onsite and offsite techniques.
  • Experience managing projects involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Advanced knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Similar Web and other industry standard tools.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Six or more years of SEO experience.
  • Knowledge of paid, owned, and earned media landscape (PPC, Display, Affiliates, Social, PR, Mobile, Native, etc.) including search engine algorithms and search engine user behavior.
  • Basic sql, html, CSS, and javascript skills.
  • Experience with data studio and/or other similar tools.
