What you’ll be doing...

Our marketing team relies on information and tools to make better and smarter decisions every day. That’s where you come in. You will be part of the test team for Verizon’s prepaid CRM programs supporting all prepaid customers. You will support both the flawless execution of test plans pre-launch, and troubleshooting post-launch. Because here, better matters.
Verizon’s Prepaid CRM team is evolving and maturing its outbound campaign capabilities and introducing real time decisioning capabilities through inbound marketing. The Prepaid PEGA Quality Tester will provide technical support of user acceptance testing and/or executing test plans, cases and data for outbound and inbound campaigns as needed for use by teams across the company during enterprise releases. You will also be relied on for your expertise in technical triage, issue investigation and troubleshooting for all RTD related issues in support of Prepaid outbound and inbound campaigns.

  • Providing technical support for environment testing preparation and readiness (data quality, availability, system ties, etc.)
  • Defect management.
  • Troubleshooting investigation and assessment, from validation through recommendation for resolution.
  • Troubleshooting risk assessment, communications, and recommendations for process improvements.
  • Creating, managing and executing testing (coordination, communications, collaboration, scheduling, etc.)

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in software testing, business analysis, and/or workflow development.
  • JIRA experience including Agile methodologies .
  • Knowledge of XML, SQL, Database Management.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • A Master’s degree.
  • Clear communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple, competing projects and meet project objectives for timeliness and accuracy.
  • Knowldge of VZW systems including SMART, ACSS and EPS, and how they work together to deliver and provision offers.
  • ISTQB and/or TMaP certification.
  • Consumer Marketing experience.
  • Written user stories, conducted user acceptance testing, developed detailed business requirements, and built personalized online experiences.
  • Applied marketing automation best practices and processes.
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Experience with the PegaSystems platform..
